Hello
What is the best time of the year to visit Tampa?
I was considering a casino trip there but do not want to
deal with excessive humidity. |

| Tough call. Depends on what your poison is...heat or less heat. Summer is hot and ususally rainy. Then of course, especially of late, there is a game in town called "Dodge the Hurricanes." Winter is cooler but can still be hot. Winter also presents you with a large influx of "snowbirds." (A snowbird is sort of like the blue-bird of happiness; they visit in the winter, tell everyone how much better it is back home, then leave when summer comes). I'd suggest the time after Easter and before July as best for visiting. |

| Well, they say of Florida that you get four seasons; early summer, summer, mid-summer and late-summer. July IS hot, that's why the casinos are so attractive at that time - air conditioning. |

| July is the worst. The humidity is beyond bearable. Plus you have the crazy rain too. |

| We talking heat in casinos or just heat in general. Cause in casinos, there IS air conditioning there correct? So why worry about heat.. |

I believe that all business establishments will do their best to give the best accommodation and service to their customers. So, no matter what the time is, the place will always be conducive for 12 months in a year |

| If you want to avoid the heat then the best time to go is definitely winter. It is nowhere near as humid however it is still reasonably warm. However you could be faced with a lot of rain etc. But if you don't want it to be humid this is the best time to go, even if it is raining. |
