| When we play in the casino or in any kind of gamble and we lose, we continue in order to try again with the hope of getting back the money we lost. When we win, we keep on playing so that we will win more. Just when should we stop playing ? It seems to be a never ending game afterall. |

| Thats the problem geline, thats what "addiction" is. And that is what causes people to lose money, the thought that "its possible to gain back that money" |

| Perhaps people are just that 'hopeful', JT? As most of the gamblers I know always expect their money to be back coz it always happens that they win today, tomorrow, but lose the next day but they still have a chance of winning the next week... really hopefuls and positive thinkers? ? |

| Hope has a bad connotation in gambling, if people "hope" to get money or earn their money back, they can just end up losing, and be in a worse situation than before. |

| that is the old adage that should be noted: Never spend what you can't afford to lose and true, JT, since gamblers are hopeful people, they always end up losing their money |

| I think a person should stop playing when all the cashflow they have to play with is coming from loans and credit |

| You should only take a certain about of money with you. When you have lost the money that you came with you stop. Don't bring a credit card with you or anything like that and then you won't be tempted to bet anymore. |

This is why the Casino always ends up winning: because we keep playing until we don't have any money left. That's just the smart ones of us. The others go to the teller and get more money on credit.
Knowing when to stop is the key to going home with some money. |

As in my last post I have mentioned that only those people who have presence of mind can deal this kind of situations. Casino owner know this mentality of people and they sometime use it.
First they will make you to win and when you will win they will take back their money along with your money as well. |
