$2-5 NLHE @ the Wynn. 4/5 of DIAMONDS and I limp in LP when about the entire table has limped. Button pops it to $20 flat and there's 3 callers in front of me, I take a flop also.
$100 in the pot and it comes down:
Jack Diamonds Six Diamonds Two (Duece) Spade
checked around to the original raiser who bets $80 - and it's folded to me.
I put my opponent on an over pair, and he's got about $200ish after his bet. I have him more then covered.
Now, if he holds KK he's a 52.2% favorite on the flop to my 47.8%. While in the moment I actually thought my hand was in the lead, but I decided to just call and maybe he'd get scared and give me a free river card.
The turn brings a : Four Hearts and I lose a ton of percentage as I'm now only a 38.6% to win this pot. I check, he fires the rest of his money in : $205 - with that bet there's $460 in the pot and $205 to call, and well, it's correct for me to call right?
I was in a gambling mood, and I called - I picked up a beautiful diamond on the river to end up cracking his Ace Clubs Jack Clubs .
The guy was extremely upset, but that's why I play those silly hands:)
I did play the hand bad though, as I never took control....
did these play is like a fish, eh? |
