| I play on party poker and it seems as though(I know this is an exaggeration) I loose more that I win when I flop 2 pair on the flop. Someone always seems to catch a straight, flush or trips to out draw me no matter what the board looks like. The problem is that if I flop top two pair I want to make money so I check and then get caught from behind. I think 2 pair is a highly overated hand and from now on I think I will play it just like top pair. Any suggestions? |

if they are catching a straight or a flush its probably cause you are trying to get fancy or give them cards for cheap!!!
if the board has paired suits i will bet over the pot and make any chasers pay!! or if there is a possible straight, same thing!!!
not sure the limits you play but check raising at the low limits is over-done!! |
