Anyone in the UK would know about the "for dummies" series of books. They are a great series of books that explain certain subjects in the finest details. The poker for dummies book is no exception to this, the detail in this book is amazing. I was playing poker for 5 years before buying this book and it still taught me some stuff that i didn't know.
I would highly recommend this book. |

| I have seen this book in a couple of book stores however I thought that it was just for beginners. After reading your recommendation I might buy it and give it a try. If a player with your experience could learn something new from this book I'm sure that I will be able to. |

It is definitely worth a read, H.Reeve. I've read some of the top poker guides yet still come back to the basics such as the Poker for Dummies and learnt as much if not more.
When it comes to poker, read what you can, when you can. You never know when the seemingly most insignificant piece of information might be crucial. |

| I know exactly what you mean, I often read poker magazines and sometimes you can learn so much from the articles that are aimed at beginners. It sounds like this book is definitely worth a read. Even if I learn 1 tiny little thing it will be worth the money to me. |

This is exactly why I love this book so much. It is full of tiny little tips that I would have never thought off. Even though I knew most of the stuff in the book, but it was the little tips that made it such a great book. |

| Just thought that I would post that I ended up buying this book 2 days ago and I'm already half way through it. I have learnt a lot from this book, which is great. I'm sure that there is alot more for me to learn as well as the book is starting the cover the more complicated aspects of poker now. |

| Yeah we some time assume that we are expert and hence we igonre these kind of books. But the interesting this about these books are that they will teach you from the basic and systematic manner hence you are not going to miss anything and I think this is most interesting and valuable thing about these kind of books. |
