Do 'bad' players at the table have a truly negligible effect on the flow of the game?

They slow down the game, and if their really "noobish" you can drain a lot of money from them, so your benefiting actually.

depends on the game - in blackjack you're playing aginst the dealer, not the other players... but in most poker I think they just add more money to the pot!

sure - remember, you only have to beat the dealer, not the other players to win your hand. Everyone can win at the table if the dealer goes bust... so you only have to play the dealer!

Just don't be affected by these 'bad people' and don't let them get over your nerves or else you might lose concentration and lose the game.
