To join a poker room for the first time, decide what you want, read the fine print, and take your time exploring the site before you risk any real money, or a lot of money. If you are only into poker for the fun and don't care about real money, look for a fun, graphics intensive site with plenty of play tables and fun players. If you are hoping to become the latest poker shark online, seek out the simple, clean, smooth sites with a reputation for lots of action.

and you should have the fastest connection that you can - nothing worse than holding up the entire game or having your computer crash 'cause it can't handle the graphics!

Well, poker games dont require alot of graphics, you can just have integrated graphics (graphics it usually comes with) and play poke well. But, i agree with what you said about internet connection. Gotta pick a good service so you wont get the, Disconnect reconnecting in 500 seconds.

I usually play Pacific Poker. I haven't seen those with high graphics. Where can we try them, Thumperfive? Smile

Yeah, it is best not to jump right into things. Sticking back and watching how things work is a much better bet

Absolutely Thumperfive, I have only recently started to play so I am still playing with 'virtual money'. I think it will be along time before I am ready to play for real.

Until then I am learning, getting to know people and having fun.
