There are 3 people left in a 10 player tournament. Everybody is equal with chips. The dealer chip folds, and it is next to me, who calls the big blind. I have K Q. Big blind checks. Flop comes:
9 10 J
So I flopped a straight. I bet 200 at the pot. The player to act after me believes I am bluffing, trying to buy a pot, so he goes all-in on top of me to put me to the test. I call the all-in.
He turns over J 2.
Turn card is a J
River card is a 9
He takes me out with a full house. This one kind of upsets me. |

Both of these hands are awful to lose, however jhasper your hand isn't really a bad beat.
Razor the guy that went all in with top pair should have never gone in. With the flop showing 9 10 J he should have been more cautious and just raised you rather than going all in. I hope that you didn't get knocked out by this guy. |

| jhasper that isn't a bad beat. A bad beat is when you have the greater hand at the beginning but the other player hangs in and ends up beating you. However razor that is a very unlucky hand to lose, I agree with reeve that he should never have gone all in with that hand. |
